Helen G. Haberberger

Helen Marie (Galazin) Haberberger, 71, of Sinking Spring, passed away September 13, 2010 in Hershey Medical Center.

She was the wife of Leonard J. Pietruszynski.

Born in Atlas, PA, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Leona (Tocyloski) Galazin.

She was a graduate of Mt. Carmel High School and attended Williamsport Hospital School of Nursing.

Helen was a Licensed Practical Nurse.

She was a member of St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield. She was involved in the Hospital Ministry at the church.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two children, Arthur A. Haberberger, Jr., husband of Karen Spano, Bedminster, NJ, and Susan H. Haberberger, wife of Dr. Matthew Plymyer, Raleigh, NC; three step-children, David M., husband of Mary Ellen Pietruszynski, Austin TX, Dr. Steven, husband of Stacey Pietruszynski, Williamsburg, VA, and Nanette, wife of Gregory Anderson, Portland, OR; granddaughter, Bailey Plymyer; and six step-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 1 p.m. in St Ignatius Loyola, R.C Church, 2810 St. Albans Dr., Whitfield, PA 19609. Entombment will be in Gethsemane Mausoleum.
