Helen G. Troutman

Helen Gertrude (Beckey) Troutman, 97, formerly of Emerson Ave., Laureldale, died December 2, 2006 at 4:10 am in Berks Heim, Bern Township, where she had been since September 22nd.

She was the widow of Lester Herman Troutman, who died January 24, 1967.

Born in Hyde Park on June 7, 1909, she was a daughter of the late William and Emma (Rissmiller) Beckey.

She was a member of Olivet Reformed Church, Reading.

Mrs. Troutman is survived by two sons, Gerald E.Troutman husband of Stephanie Houck-Troutman of Wyomissing and David G. Troutman of Laureldale.

Other survivors include a sister, Fern L. (Beckey) widow of Robert Flynn of Hazleton; four grandchildren Bonita Richter, Theresa Strause, Patricia Squier and Eric Troutman and ten great grandchildren.

Services will be private. Burial will be in Good Shepherd Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township. Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale is in charge of arrangements.
