Helen A. Dugan

Helen A. Dugan, 83, passed away Saturday, April 21, 2018, in ManorCare, Sinking Spring.

She was the beloved wife of Anthony C. Dugan who she married February 20, 1954.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late James and Helen (Grimes) Gruber.

Helen was a graduate of Reading Catholic High School.

She was a member of St John Baptist De La Salle R. C. Church, Shillington.

In addition to her husband, Helen is survived by three daughters: Patricia A., wife of Owen Behen, Cherry Hill, NJ; Mary Jo, wife of Francis Radka, Mohnton; and Kathleen Dugan, Reading. Three grandchildren: Becky, wife of James Chiarieri; Christopher, husband of Kimberly Radka; and Jessica Radka, and three great grandchildren; and a sister Rosemary, wife of Leon Crupi, Sinking Spring, also survive her.

Helen was predeceased by a son, Michael A. Dugan; a daughter, Margaret "Peggy" Dugan; and a brother, James, husband of Roseann Gruber.

A celebration of life service will be held Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at 7 p.m., at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading, PA 19611. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Helen's honor to St John Baptist De La Salle R. C.
