Helen R. Doganes, 87, died May 8, 2014, in her daughter's Wyomissing residence.
Her husband, Charles W. Doganes, died May 2, 2003.
Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Frances Kulas.
She was employed by Linette's Candies for many years until her retirement.
Her faith was very important to her; she was a life-long practicing Catholic.
Helen loved to spend time with her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Her favorite memories were time spent with family at the beach.
She is survived by her children, Frances L., wife of Richard J. Kemp and their children Heather and Steven; William P., husband of Leta B. Doganes, Leesport and their children Dana and Lauren; and Mary E., wife of Howard J. Einsel, Muhlenberg Twp. and their children Andrew and Travis. There is one surviving brother, Joseph Kulas, Douglassville. Three great grandchildren, Nolan, Sydney and Everly and one expectant great-granddaughter also survive her.
Helen was predeceased by five siblings, Anthony, Chester, William , Edward and Cecilia.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
