Helen J. Cieplinski

Helen J. Cieplinski, 86, passed away January 30, 2017, in the Reading Hospital.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Walter F. and Florence J. (Kulikowski) Cieplinski.

Helen was a 1947 graduate of Wilson High School.

She was the co-owner of Bobby Lee's Luncheonette for 25 years before retiring in 1974.

Helen was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading.

One of Helen's favorite activities was babysitting children. She first babysat at the age of 11 and continued to do so for 65 years. Most noteworthy of the children she babysat were: Andrew, Katie, and Colleen O'Rourke whom she babysat for 18 years and considered family.

Helen is survived by her daughter, Paula Jo Cieplinski, West Lawn.

She was predeceased by her brother, Stanley Edward Cieplinksi.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, February 1, 2017, at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart R.C. Church, West Reading with a burial to follow at Gethsemane Cemetery. Viewing will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. in the church. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading is in charge of arrangements.
