Helen Mae Capozello

Helen Mae Capozello, 83, formerly of West Reading, passed away August 13, 2011 in her Wyomissing residence.

She was the loving wife of Peter Capozello, Jr., whom she had been married to for over 61 years.

Born in West Reading, she was a daughter of the late H. Raymond and Helen (Fisher) Schnable.

She was a graduate of West Reading High School.

Helen worked for Bell Telephone and then as a bookkeeper for McCullough, Schulze & Speicher Accountants. She also worked along side of her daughter, Donna, grooming dogs.

She was a member of Sacred Heart R.C. Church, West Reading.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters: Debra, wife of Michael Rowe, Pennsville, NJ; Sandra, wife of Tim Tait, Mohnton; her sister, Margaret Matthews, West Lawn; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Helen was predeceased by her daughter, Donna Capozello, June 21, 2011 and three siblings: Jean Snyder, Raymond Schnable and Richard Schnable.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart R.C. Church, West Reading. A viewing will be 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery.
