Helen Andreas

Helen (Paskevich) Andreas, 96, died May 26, 2010 in her Reading residence.

Her husband Willard Andreas died October 6, 1978.

Born in Beaver Meadows, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Kavolick) Paskevich.

She was a manager in the sample department by King Cup Schoeners Candy, West Reading for over 25 years, retiring in 1976.

Helen was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church.

Helen is survived by two children, Richard G. Andreas, with whom she resided and Nancy J. O'Boyle, Reading; two siblings, Thomas Paskevich, Wyomissing and Mary Prosser, Muhlenberg Township.

She is also survived by four grandchildren, Thomas Drey, Maureen Altavilla, Colleen Murray, Kathleen Miller; eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Helen was predeceased by her granddaughter, Loreen O'Boyle.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church, 501 Summit Ave, Reading. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
