Hector Manuel Gonzalez

Hector Manuel Gonzalez, 74, peacefully fell asleep in death on July 13, 2024, in his Reading residence, where he resided for 64 years.

Born in Cuamo, Puerto Rico. he was the son of Ana Maria Gonzalez and the late Praxedes Gonzalez.

Hector was the beloved husband of Luz "Celi" Gonzalez, with whom he celebrated 55 years of marriage.

He was employed as a machine operator for Baldwin Brass before his retirement in 2013.

Hector was an active and cherished member of the local Jehovah's Witness South Spanish Congregation located in Reading PA.

Hector had a passion for motorcycles and classic cars. He enjoyed traveling especially to the beach. But his true love was his family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and a amazing friend with a great sense of humor and an even bigger heart. His love and warmth, touch the hearts of all those who knew him, he will deeply be missed, and his memory will forever be cherished.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his four children, Hector husband of Vicky Gonzalez; Cindy Gonzalez, Manuel, husband of Elisa Garcia Gonzalez and Elnestor "Tito" husband of Amanda Gonzalez. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 2 brother, 1 sister and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his grandson, Nathaniel Rodriguez, and two brothers.

A Graveside Service will be held Friday, July 19, 2024, at 11:30 a.m. in Pleasant View Cemetery, Sinking Spring. Viewing will be held Thursday, July 18, 2024, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday, July 19 from 9:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. at Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading PA 19611. Edward J.
