Hazel Stella Groff

Hazel Stella (Bossler) Groff, 83, of Temple, died January 28, 2015 in the Laurel Center, Tilden Township.

She was the widow of Gerald Dale Groff, who died November 3, 1967.

Hazel was for in Reading, PA on October 24, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Charles I. and Anne L. Bossler.

She was a 1948 graduate of Muhlenberg High School.

Hazel was employed in the deli department with Weis Markets, Muhlenberg Township until her retirement.

She is survived by two children: Dawn A. (Groff) Strunk, companion of Richard B. Keller of Fleetwood and Bradley D. Groff Sr., of Fairless Hills, Bucks County.

Other survivors include six grandchildren: Michelle L. (Strunk), wife of David Katzenmoyer; Michael J. Strunk; Melanie L. (Rohrbach) Manwiller; Jennifer L. Groff; Melissa A. (Rohrbach), wife of Jason M. Shupp and Bradley D. Groff, Sr.

There are also eight great grandchildren: Amber, Jacob, Brianna, Cheyenne, Hunter, Justin, Christopher and Devin.

Hazel was predeceased by a daughter, Kim S. (Groff) Spatz, who died May 29, 2012.

She was also predeceased by a sister and three brothers.

Services will be held Monday, February 2nd at 11:00 am in Kuhn-Stitzel Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township.
