Hazel M. Budden

Hazel M. Budden, 84 of Laurel Living Center, Hamburg, Formerly of Orwigsburg, PA, died March 3, 2011 in the Reading Hosptial & Medical Center where she was a patient for the last week. Born in West Hamburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Morris J. and Esther M. (DeLong) Budden. Hazel was employeed by the Globe Underwear Co. for 40 years as a Folder and Trimmer until she retired in 1989. She was a member of Shoemakersville Fire Co., and the Ladies Auxillary. Surviving is one brother, Clarence R. husband of Loretta Budden, Hamburg, PA; two sisters, Catherine L widow of Charles Eyer, Orwigsburg, PA, Fern widow of Clyde Shollenberger, Hamburg, PA. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 pm in the Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, 40 S. 4th St., Hamburg. Pastor Alex DuBee, Officiating. Relatives & Friends will be received on Monday from 7:00 to 8:30 pm and Tuesday from 12:30 to 1:00 pm in the funeral home. Interment will be in Schuylkill Memorial Park.
