Harvey Harris

Harvey Ray Harris, 64, of Oley, died January 6, 2013 in Reading Hospital & Medical Center.

He was the husband of Marlee N. (Zebert) Harris, who died July 4, 2010.

Born in Amory Mississippi, he was a son of the late Harvey Ray Harris Sr. and Joan (Parchman) Harris-Mize, and step son of Herbert E. Mize.

Harvey served in the United States Army.

He was employed for a number of years at Carpenter Technology.

Harvey was an active member of Rajah Shrine Legion of Honor, Tall Cedars and The Blue Lodge for many years. Golfing was also a hobby he enjoyed.

He is survived by two children, Craig Harris, TN and Amy Harris, Reading, and a step daughter, Tina( Haring ), wife of Jason Bitler, Oswego, NY. His brother Bert Mize, husband of Phyllis, also survives him.

Services will be Friday, at 10:00 am in Blankenbiller Funeral Home, Inc. 423 Main Street, Oley PA 19547. A viewing will be held from 9:00 am until time of services. Burial will be in Friedens Cemetery.
