Harvey L. Geisewite

Harvey L. Geisewite, 91, formerly of Playground Drive, West Reading, died April 22nd at 12:05 pm in Hearthstone at Maidencreek Assisted Living Community, where he had been since October 1, 2004.

He was the widower of Ruth S. (Burdan) Geisewite, who died March 17, 2001.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late John O. and Minnie (Gruber) Geisewite.

He was an Army Veteran of WWII.

Geisewite was employed for 35 years by Carpenter Steel, Reading as a supervisor in production control until his retirement August 1, 1975.

He is survived by a daughter, Joanne (Geisewite) Schmidt of Bern Township.

Geisewite was a 32nd degree Mason, Wyomissing.

He was a life member of Riverside Beneficial Association, Reading.

Services will be Wednesday at 1:00 pm in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Visitation will be Wednesday Noon until time of service. Burial will be private in Charles Evans Cemetery, Reading. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Heathstone at Maidencreek, 105 Dries Road, Reading, Pa 19605.
