Harry Lester Umbenhauer, Jr.

Harry Lester Umbenhauer, Jr., 61, of Oley, died October 28, 2013 in the Reading Hospital & Medical Center.

Born June 19, 1952 in West Reading, PA., he was a son of the late Harry L. Sr., and Ruth Umbenhauer.

He was a graduate of Reading High School.

Harry was employed 39 years with Carpenter Technology, Reading, before retiring as an overhead crane operator, April, 2012.

He is survived by seven children: Marsha S. (Umbenhauer), wife of Robert A. Dionysius of Naynard, Arkansas, Robert S. Splain III of Florida, Edward W., husband of Darlene Cramp of Lebanon, PA, Cindy L. Cramp of Reading, Jeana L. (Cramp), wife of Terrance W. Lee of Reading, Tracy L. (Cramp) Dierolf of Arkansas and Sherri A. Cramp of Reading.

Other survivors include two siblings: Donald & Donna Umbenhouer, both of Reading.

There are also 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Services will be Thursday at 2:00 pm in Kuhn-Stitzel Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A viewing will be held Thursday from 1:00 pm until time of services.
