Harry O. Hahn, Jr., 101, of Wyomissing, died October 21, 2008 in The Highlands at Wyomissing.

His wife, Helen M. (Bitler) Hahn, died in 1997.

Born in Akron, he was a son of the late Harry O., Sr. and Amanda (Mellinger) Hahn.

He was the proud owner and operator of Harry O. Hahn Seafood, Reading for over 30 years until retiring in 1973.

Harry and his daughter Sally, operated seafood stands at the Green Dragon, Ephrata, and Rott's Manheim, farmers markets.

Harry was a member of West Wyomissing Chapel.

He was very active in his community; he was a life member of the Rajah Shrine and various Masonic groups; he volunteered with Berks Visiting Nurse Association, and participated in several Gospel singing groups that visited nursing homes, retirement homes and churches.

Harry is survived by two sons, Tom H., husband of Joan H, Reading and Stephen H., husband of Dorothy M., Sinking Spring. Seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren also survive him.

He was predeceased by a daughter, Sally A. Hahn who died in 1990; four sisters and one brother.

Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. in West Wyomissing Chapel, 2055 Reading Blvd., West Lawn, PA 19609. Burial will be in Berks County Memorial Gardens. Friends may call one hour prior to the service in the Chapel. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to West Wyomissing Chapel at the above address. Edward J.
