Harry W. Fredericks

Harry W. Fredericks, 80, died July 3 in the residence of his daughter, Francesann T. (Fredericks) Fritz, Lucinda Lane, Spring Township, with whom he had resided for 10 years.

His wife, Regina T. (McAndrews) Fredericks, died Nov. 17, 2000.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Harry and Katherine Fredericks.

Fredericks was employed for 39 years as a welder by Reading Tube Corp., retiring in 1984.

He was a member of St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield.

Fredericks was a graduate of Reading High School.

He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a life member of the Navy Seabee Veterans of America Inc.

He is also survived by a daughter, Anitamarie (Fredericks) Chastain, Ocala, Fla.

Other survivors include three grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 11 a.m. in St. Ignatius Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Pottsville. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
