Harry N. Disch

Harry N. Disch, 66, of Kennendale Texas, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on December 23, 2009.

Harry was born in Konawa, Oklahoma, in 1943 to Harry and Florence Disch.

He graduated in 1961 from Arlington High School, Arlington, TX.

He served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War as an accountant and was stationed in Pakistan.

Harry obtained a B.S. in mathematics from University of Texas at Arlington in 1971 and in 1978 a M.S. in mathematics from North Texas University. He taught secondary mathematics for 29 years in the Arlington School District.

Harry enjoyed woodworking, repairing electronic gadgets, traveling, photography and painting.

He was happily married for 37 years to Bonnie Alice Epler Disch.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Matthew Jacob, husband of Leslie Elaine Disch, of Benton Arkansas and his beloved pet, Callie Marie Disch and countless family and friends.

Services will be Monday at noon in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, PA 19611. Interment will be in Laureldale Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 10:30 a.m. to noon in the funeral home. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhome.com.
