Harry M. Dennis

Harry M. Dennis Sr., 79, Wyomissing, died Oct. 21, 2006, at 1:30 p.m. in Reading Hospital, where he had been since Wednesday. He was the husband of Joan M. (Balulis) Dennis.

Born in Birdsboro, he was a son of the late Michael and Elia (Padovani) Dennis.

He was the founder and president of Deluxe Window and Door, West Lawn, for 57 years. He was still working.

Dennis was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading.

He was an Army veteran of World War II.

He also is survived by two sons, Harry M. Jr., husband of Tracey, and Michael J., husband of Joelle; all of Wyomissing; and two daughters, Diane D., wife of Lee Levan, and Joni A. Dennis; all of Wyomissing.

Other survivors include a sister, Mary (Dennis) Konopelski, Reading.

There also are six grandchildren: Andrew Dennis, John Levan, Chris Dennis, Lee Levan Jr., Thomas Dennis and Nicholas Dennis.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in St. John Baptist de La Salle Roman Catholic Church, Shillington. Burial will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township. A viewing will be held Wednesday from 9 to 10 a.m. in Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading.
