Harry D. Sharadin

Harry D. Sharadin, 97, of Muhlenberg Township, died August 14, 2010 in Berks Heim.

His wife, Sadie V. (Lutz) Sharadin, died May 12, 2006.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Leroy P. and Mabel (Wentzel) Sharadin.

Harry was a technician at various heating companies, including Berks Products.

He was a member of the Goodwill Fire Company.

Harry was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving in WWII.

He is survived by his daughter, Joan A. (Sharadin) wife of Leonard Rauenzahn of Muhlenberg Township.

There are two grandchildren, Lisa Helbert and Lori, wife of Troyce Knarr.

Other survivors include a great granddaughter, Brittany Wixon.

Services will be Friday at 10 a.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Rd., Laureldale. Viewing one hour prior to service. Burial will be in Spies-Zion Cemetery, Alsace Township. Online condolences may be recorded at www.christfuneralhome.com.
