Harry J. Carse

Harry Joseph Carse, Jr., 60, died April 21, 2012 in his Reading residence.

Born July 23, 1951 in West Reading, he was a son of the late Harry J. Sr., and Iona J. (Treon) Carse.

He was employed for 16 years with Hofmann Industries, Sinking Spring, last working in 1986.

Harry was an avid golfer and beachgoer.

He loved the Dallas Cowboys and the Beatles.

Harry was very involved with his grandkids; making sure not to miss an event.

He is survived by two daughters, Heather L., wife of Michael J. Keller, Jr., of Spring Township and Alison M., wife of Felix A. Tartaglia IV of Jefferson Township.

Other survivors include a brother, Raymond Carse and a brother-in-law, Arthur Lockwood.

There are also seven grandchildren: Jordan B. Keller, Jared B. Keller, Joshua B. Keller, Julia B. Keller, Jocelyn B. Keller, Olivia M. Tartaglia and Vincent M. Tartaglia.

Harry was predeceased by a son, David Michael Carse, who died July 7, 1970.

He was also predeceased by two siblings: Jennifer L. Lockwood and Laura M. Carse.

Services will be Saturday at 11:00 am in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
