Harry L. Breon

Harry L. Breon, Jr., 72, passed away unexpectedly on March 28, 2025 in his residence. Born in Reading on June 5, 1952, he was the son of the late Harry L. Breon, Sr, and Anna (Blackwell) Breon.

He attended Schuylkill Haven School District, and worked at Hamburg Knit as well as Craftex Mills and Wrights, as a Bleacher. Recently, he enjoyed his position as a custodian at Blue Mountain School District. Harry was a lifetime member of Port Clinton Fire Co., Deer Lake and West Brunswick Fire Co. #1, and the Schuylkill Co. Fire Police Association. In his younger years, Harry enjoyed being outdoors, and loved to go fishing and hunting growing up. He loved to play the role of Santa during the holidays for his family and friends, as well as at the fire company.

Harry's memory will be cherished by his siblings: David Breon, Terry Breon, and Mary Ann Koenig, wife of Larry; as well as his nephew, Larry Koenig, Jr, husband of Abby; and his niece, Krystle Koenig-Messner; his great nephews, Parker and Caleb; and his great niece, Corinne; as well as several cousins. He joins in Heaven, his parents, and his aunts and uncles.

The funeral service for Harry will be held on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Kuhn Funeral Home, Hamburg, with burial to follow in St. John's Cemetery. Family and friends may gather from 10 a.m. until the beginning of the service.
