Harold W. Shesniak

Harold W. Shesniak, 82, passed away in his Wernersville residence after a lengthy illness. He was the loving husband of Catherine (McGee) Shesniak. Together they shared over 58 years.

Born to the late Peter and Annie (Sheetz) Shesniak, Harold grew up in the Bronx. After his high school graduation, he enlisted in the US Navy and served honorably from 1959 through 1964.

His career in publishing led Harold to travel extensively throughout the United States. He retired as the Vice President of Sales for Mason Crest. He and Catherine also enjoyed traveling through Europe. Harold loved his grandchildren dearly, and his warm sense of humor could brighten any room.

His family would like to express appreciation for the dedicated care he received from Donna and Melanie of Enhabit Home Health.

Harold's memory is treasured by his wife, Catherine; their son, Peter J. Shesniak, husband of Jamie, of Wernersville; and grandchildren, Emmalie and Curren Shesniak. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Michael Shesniak.

Services for Harold will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc, 739 Penn Ave, West Reading, PA 19611, with committal and military honors to follow at New Jerusalem Cemetery.
