Harold C. Reinert

Harold C. Reinert, 83, formerly of Franklin St., West Reading, of Wyomissing, died August 4, 2010 in Country Meadows of Allentown.

His wife, Akiko (Kudo) Reinert died in 2005.

Born in West Reading, he was a son of the late Paul B. and Eva R. (Hiester) Reinert.

He worked for the Reading Eagle Company for over 14 years, retiring in 1989.

Harold was a long time member of the West Reading Fire Department.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving in WWII, Korean War and Vietnam War. He served as a cook and radio repairman for 20 years, retiring from active duty in 1968.

Harold is survived by his son, Kenneth Reinert, Reston, VA and his three brothers: Paul R. Reinert, Shillington, John I. Reinert, Soudersburg and Allen L. Reinert, Temple.

He was predeceased by his brothers:William E., Robert W. and Richard J.
