Harold R. Rothermel

Harold Robert Rothermel, 76, of Fleetwood, died May 1st at 8:30 pm in the Lutheran Home at Topton where he had been since April 12th.

He was the husband of Ruth I. (Fetter) Rothermel.

Born in Blandon, he was a son of the late Arthur H. and Annie M. (Angstadt) Rothermel.

He was employed for 30 years by Globe Underwear, Shoemakersville, before retiring as a foreman in 1990.

Rothermel is also survived by two daughters, Pamela A. (Rothermel) Fister of Pittsburgh and Paulette A. (Rothermel) Pollock of Fleetwood.

Other survivors include a sister, Anna Mae (Rothermel) Schappell of Alsace Township and two brothers, Forrest Rothermel of Leesport and Earl Rothermel of Blandon.

There are also three grandsons, Peter Pollock, Derek Pollock and Brandon Pollock.

Services will be Thursday at 10:00 am in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Viewing one hour prior to service. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township.
