Harold P. Rissmiller

Harold Paul Rissmiller, 79, of Exeter Township, died November 28, 2008 in St. Joseph Medical Center.

He was the widower of Julia J. (Meluskey) Rissmiller, who died November 10, 2005.

Born in Hyde Park on May 27, 1929, he was a son of the late William and Mary M. Rissmiller.

He was a 1948 graduate of Muhlenberg High School.

Harold was last employed for 11 years in the maintenance department with the Governor Mifflin School District, retiring in 1995.

He is survived by a step daughter, Diana L. (Weisel), wife of Gregory J. Bergstresser of Quakertown, Bucks County.

Other survivors include a sister, Betty (Rissmiller), wife of Donald Eisenhart of Laureldale and a step granddaughter, Danelle L. (Bergstresser), wife of Michael J. Lauchner of Quakertown.

He was predeceased by three brother, Donald Rissmiller, Earl Rissmiller, and Leon Rissmiller, and a sister, Edith Witwer.

Services will be Tuesday at 2:00 pm in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A viewing will be held Tuesday from 1:00 pm until time of service. Burial will be in Alsace Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
