Harold C. Englehart

Harold C. "Ace" Englehart, 87, of Reading, died July 12, 2007 in the Reading Hospital.

His wife, Helen M. (Royer) Englehart, died November 6, 1967.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Charles and Anna May (Moyer) Englehart.

He was a 1938 graduate of Reading High School.

Harold was a steel worker for Dana Corp. for 35 years until his retirement.

He was an Army Veteran of World War II, where he was a Prisoner of War in Germany for one year.

Harold was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Wyomissing.

He is survived by three daughters, Dawn, wife of George Hettinger, Mohnton, Vicki wife of David Kerchner of N. Charleston, SC, and Cindy wife of Scott Kissinger, Reading.

Harold is also survived by one brother, Phillip Englehart, Laureldale; and one sister, Margaret (Englehart) Hracho, Reading. Nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren also survive him.

Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park. For online condolences, please visit www.kuhnfuneralhome.com.
