Harold Charles Becker

Harold Charles Becker, Sr., 85, died Friday, November 4, 2016, in his Spring Township residence.

He was predeceased by his first wife, Dorothy (Winner) Becker in 1965, and his second wife Nancy (Wright) Becker, in 2003.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Charles Henry and Catharine A. (Kline) Becker.

Harold was a 1948 graduate of Ontelaunee High School.

He worked as a lathe operator at Carpenter Technology, retiring in 1987.

Harold is survived by four children, Marilyn Grogg, Litchfield, CT; Harold Charles Becker, Jr., Bethel; Glenn Becker, Shillington; and Kathy, wife of Greg Fegley, West Lawn; and one step-son, John, husband of Dawne Cassidy, Lakeside, TX. Eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren also survive him.

He was predeceased by his grandson, Stephen Grogg, in 2014.

A service will be held, Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at 10 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading, PA 19611. Burial will follow in Maidencreek Cemetery, Blandon.
