Harold Leroy Borrell

Harold LeRoy Borrell, 79, died November 25th in his residence at 1701 State Hill Road, Wyomissing.

He was the husband of Mary (Capozzi) Borrell.

Born in Reading, Pa., he was a son of the late Harry and Mabel (Schlappig) Borrell.

He was a graduate of Reading High School.

Borrell was employed by Willson Safety Products, Reading as a foreman for 35 years retiring in 1986.

He was an Army Veteran of WWII where he received the Bronze Star.

Borrell was a life member of both the Sinking Spring Fire Company and VFW Post #00378, Reading.

He is also survived by a daughter, Jeanette T. (Borrell) wife of Doug G. Kauffman of Spring Township.

Other survivors include a sister, Mary Jane (Borrell) Stufflet of Reading and a Half-Sister, Marian (Schnoke) Hessler of West Wyomissing.

There are also four granddaughters, Amy, Amanda, Katie, Molly and two great granddaughters, Emma and Isabella.

Prayer services will be held Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Viewing Wednesday 10:30 until time of service. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to American Cancer Society 498 Bellevue Ave., Reading, Pa 19605 or American Heart Association 40 Berkshire Court, Wyomissing, Pa 19610.
