Gregory M. Skuczas

Gregory Matthew Skuczas, 32, died July 7, 2011 in his Maidencreek Township residence.

Born September 30, 1978 in West Reading, he was a son of Larry Vincent and Sandra Ann (Wagner) Skuczas of Maidencreek Township.

Gregory was a 1996 graduate of Fleetwood High School and attended Penn State University, Berks Campus.

He was employed with Georgio Foods, Inc. for 4 years, last working Tuesday.

Gregory was a creative, self-taught musician who played the drums, bass guitar and guitar.

He was a very philosophical person.

Gregory was the loving father of Zachary Elijah Skuczas who is 4 1/2 years old.

Also surviving is a brother, Christopher A., fiancé of Jennifer M. Wimer of Palo Alto, Schuylkill County.

Other survivors inlcude three nieces, Haley I. Maxwell, Bethanie L. Skuczas and Victoria E. Aragno and a nephew Alexander G. Skuczas.

In addition, he is survived by his maternal grandmother, Anna Mae (Seyfert) Wagner.

There are also his godparents, Paul and Dorothy Skuczas of Muhlenberg Township.

Gregory was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, George Matthew and Anna Mabelle (Strunk) Skuczas and his maternal grandfather, Myles Herbert Wagner, Sr.

A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A visitation will be held one hour prior to services in the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery, Tilden Township.
