Gregory R. Hafer

Gregory R. Hafer, 55, of Birdsboro, died May 29, 2010 in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

He was the husband of Charlene F. (Fiss) Hafer.

Born in West Reading, he was a son of the late Charles F., Jr. and Irene R. (Renninger) Hafer.

Greg was a 1973 graduate of Wyomissing High School.

He was a project manager for Special T Design & Manufacturing Co., Inc., Reading.

Greg enjoyed being a part of the Thursday night choir practice. He was known for his wit and sense of humor. He will be dearly missed.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Raina C. Hafer, Brooklyn, NY; his brother, Jeff C., husband of Linda Hafer, Spring Township; his sisters: Deb, wife of Don Hart, Camlachie, Ontario, Canada and Cheryl, wife of Frank Pogue, Cincinnati, OH and his sister-in-law, Martha Hafer, Wyomissing. He is also survived by many other family members, nieces, nephews and friends.

Greg was predeceased by his brother, Fred D. Hafer.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading is in charge of arrangements.
