Gregory Scott Crammer

Gregory S. Crammer, 55, of West Lawn, was unfairly taken from the people who love him on Tuesday, June 25, 2024. He was the loving husband of Patrice E. (Cravener) Crammer.

Born in Reading to Vernon Crammer and Gloria M. (Emrick) Smith, widow of Donyon C. Smith, Greg graduated from Emmaus High School in 1987. He was the owner of Image Plus Dental Design.

A man of his word and a problem solver, Greg was truly the type of person who would do anything to help anyone. He was an intelligent, thoughtful man who enjoyed learning new skills and never met a challenge he was not willing to face. An avid guitar enthusiast, Greg learned how to play at 9 years old, and had accumulated a collection of guitars through his life. He loved to work on cars, especially his precious 2005 V-70 Volvo with over 300,000 miles.

Greg most loved his family. Becoming a father to Katie Lynn was one of his greatest joys. He was proud to coach the Wilson Youth Baseball team where his son, Michael, plays. He would listen for hours as his daughter, Rebecca, read chapter after chapter of her books aloud. Known as a "Baby Whisperer," Greg adored caring for the children in his life.

He was a devoted family man who demonstrated to his children how to be a good person each day through his continued commitment to the Spring Township Lions Club. Greg was currently serving as the co-treasurer, and in the past twice served as club president. He chaired many fundraising committees, including the Chicken Bar-be-que fundraisers, and served on the Halloween Parade Planning Committee. Greg was well known for his involvement in organizing the Medical Device Loan Program.

He was a loving husband and proud father who had so much service still to give to his family and his community.

Left to treasure Greg's memory are his wife, Patrice; his children, Katie Lynn Crammer, life partner of John M. Ruth, of West Lawn; Rebecca Rose Crammer and Michael Alexander Crammer, both at home; Stephen M. Crammer of Colorado; and his stepson, Gregory N. Fritsch. He is also survived by his brother, Jeffrey M. Crammer, husband of Cheryl, of Whitehall.

Contributions to support the wellbeing of Greg's children may be made by check payable to the Spring Township Lions Club; please include "for the Crammer Family" on the memo line and mail care of to the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc, 739 Penn Ave, West Reading PA 19611.

Services honoring Greg Crammer will be held privately. Condolences may be expressed at kuhnfuneralhomes.com.
