Gregoria Dominguez

Gregoria (Diaz-Cruz) Dominguez, 79, of Reading, died May 28, 2013, in Hershey Medical Center.

She was the wife of Andres Dominguez, Sr.

Born in Cayey, Puerto Rico, she was a daughter of the late Luciano and Paula (Cruz) Diaz.

She was employed by Aramark for 23 years retiring in 1996.

Gregoria was a member of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Reading, where she was a member of the Legion of Mary and the Sacred Heart Society. She was also a long-time volunteer at the Kennedy House.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Andres, Jr., husband of Maria Dominguez, Annapolis, MD; Maria Diaz, Reading; and Dennis "Danny", husband of Johanna Dominguez, West Lawn. There are four siblings, Dionicio Diaz, Reading, Santo Diaz, Puerto Rico, Francisca Diaz, Puerto Rico and Maria Diaz, Puerto Rico. Eleven grandchildren, Giovanni Dominguez, Armanni Dominguez, Alina (Dominguez) Craven, Andres Dominguez, III, Ariel Dominguez, Anissa Dominguez, Adrian Dominguez, Frankie Collazo, Johnny Collazo, Jacqueline Martinez and Jasmine Gonzalez also survive her.

She was predeceased by one brother, Basilio Diaz, Reading.

A Mass of Christian Burial will celebrated Friday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Peter's Church. Entombment will be in Gethsemane Mausoleum. Friends may call Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. in Edward J.
