Grant C. Stocker

Grant C. Stocker, 88, Lincoln Park, died Nov. 15 in the residence of a son, Wayne F. Stocker, Reinholds.

His wife, Beatrice M. (Mulligan) Stocker, died Sept. 30, 2000.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Jacob and Gertrude M. (Moyer) Stocker.

Stocker was employed for 38 years as an operations supervisor by Metropolitan Edison Co., Muhlenberg Township, at its Eyler Station, West Reading, retiring in 1979.

He was a member of Lincoln Park Community United Methodist Church, Spring Township.

Stocker was a 50-year member of Chandler Lodge 227, F&AM, West Reading.

He was a grand tall cedar of Neversink Forest 32, Tall Cedars of Lebanon, in 1951.

Stocker was a trustee of the Lincoln Park Fire Company from 1955 to 1956.

He is also survived by a brother, Sidney R., Sinking Spring.

Services will be Friday at 10 a.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Sinking Spring Cemetery.
