Grant Allen Herald

Grant Allen Herald, 41, Reading, died Dec. 1, 2006, in the Reading Hospital, where he had been a patient since Nov. 24.

He was the husband of Mona L. (Wagner) Herald.

Born in Reading, he was a son of Allen G. husband of Lynn Ann Herald, Reading and Sandra Ann wife of Richard DePaul, Hamburg.

He worked as a hat shaper at the Bollman Hat Factory, Adamstown, from 1985 to 1994.

He was a life member of Reading-Pagoda Motorcycle Club.

Grant was an outdoorsman who loved fishing, camping and life.

He is also survived by a stepson, Jason Bonsall, Reading and a stepdaughter, Melissa (Bonsall), wife of Rubin Liciago, Reading.

Other survivors include a sister, Amy (Herald) wife of Eric Metz, Bernville and two step-brothers, Christopher Lillis, Wyomissing and Scott husband of Christina Lillis, Shillington.

There are also three step-granddaughters.

Services will be held on Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. Burial will be private in Laureldale Cemetery.
