Grace E. Sweitzer

Grace Eva (Rothenberger) Sweitzer, 91, passed away peacefully July 12, 2007 at 8:46 am in her Laureldale residence, with her daughter by her side.

She was the widow of Jacob Sweitzer, who died April 10, 1995.

Born January 27, 1916 in Muhlenberg Township, she was a daughter of the late George and Sallie (Yoder) Rothenberger.

Grace attended Muhlenberg Schools.

She was employed for a number of years with Rosedale Knitting Mills and Liberty Dye Works.

Grace was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Pricetown.

She is survived by a daughter, Jean M. wife of Paul "Skip" Hamaker and a granddaughter, Brenda Cutler all of Laureldale.

Other survivors include a brother, Robert J. Rothenberger and wife June of Stoney Creek Mills and a sister, Edna S. Kantner widow of Anthony of Temple and three great grandchildren, Christopher, Kimberly and Timothy Huey.

She was predeceased by three brothers and four sisters.

Services will be Monday at 10:00 am in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale, with the Rev. Bonnie Dalious officiating. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Pricetown Cemetery. Contributions may be made to St. John's U.C.C. 3713 Pricetown Road, Fleetwood, PA 19522.
