Grace A. Schlenker

Grace A. Schlenker 98 years passed away July 16, 2024, in the loving care of Berks Heim Nursing and Rehabilitation. Grace was born October 23, 1925 in Tilden Township to the late Joseph E. and Mollie (Henne) Naftzinger. Grace graduated from Hamburg High School Class of 1943. She was married to the late Samuel I. Schlenker who predeceased her in March of 1960. Grace was employed by Roadside America as a retail merchandiser, for 47 years, retiring at the age of 81.

Grace was predeceased by her parents, her son, Irvin "Irv" S. Schlenker, and her companions; Paul Brobst, and Delbert Berger, and her siblings Carl Naftzinger and Vera Schrack.

Left to cherish her memory are her son David H. Schlenker of Hamburg, five grandchildren: Bradley S. Schlenker, Courtney Jo Schlenker, Bryn Beary, Kyle Schlenker, and Karie Good, 11 great grandchildren: Heather Schlenker, Joseph Schlenker, Samuel Schlenker, Matthew Schlenker, Luke Schlenker, Jack Beary, Pennington Beary, Ford Beary, Dylan Schlenker, Jude Schlenker, and Mary Jo Voorhees. Grace is also survived by Paul Brobst's family and Delbert Berger's family.

Family and friends are invited to attend her funeral service, Tuesday, July 23, 2024 11am, in Kuhn Funeral Home, 40 S. 4th Street Hamburg. Viewing from 10-11am with burial following in St. John's Cemetery, Hamburg.
