Grace M. Orlando

Grace M. Orlando Grace M. Orlando, 79, Spring Township, died Jan. 9 at 1:51 a.m. in Wyomissing Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Reading, where she had been a patient since Jan. 6.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Anna (Mazzei) Joffred.

Orlando had been employed for 22 years as an administrative assistant and bookkeeper by St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield, where she was also a member.

She served as sunshine and hospitality chairwoman of the St. Ignatius Women's Society and was a lector at the church.

Orlando was a 1943 graduate of Reading High School.

She is survived by two daughters, Marianne G. Orlando and Tina M. Orlando, both of Womelsdorf.

Other survivors include two brothers, Anthony Joffred, Whitfield, and Louis Joffred, Sun City West, Ariz.; and two sisters, Rosie (Joffred) Marino, Bernville, and Antoinette (Joffred) Okonski, Hyde Park.

There are also two grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Ignatius Loyola RC Church. Friends may call from 6 - 8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery Mausoleum, Laureldale. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
