Grace L. Weidner

Grace L. (Folk) Weidner, 88, died August 4th at 4:25 am in ManorCare Health Services, Muhlenberg Township, where she had been since September 10, 2002.

Her husband, Elwood M. Weidner, died January 31, 1996.

Born in Hyde Park, Muhlenberg Township, she was a daughter of the late George and Mamie (Meck) Folk.

She was employed as a machine operator for 23 years at the former Temple Apparel Company before retiring in 1983.

Grace was a member of Alsace Lutheran Church, Hyde Park.

She is survived by two daughters, Suzanne M. wife of John Lesagonicz of Riverview Park and Delores A. wife of Joseph Guzanowski of Delaware.

Other survivors include 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Grace was predeceased by two sons, LeVerne "Jake" G. Weidner, who died April 19, 1982 and Kenneth R. Weidner, who died January 14, 1999.

She was also predeceased by a granddaughter, Christine A. (Guzanowski) Hix, who died May 24, 1986.

Services will be Tuesday at 10:00 am in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale with the Rev. Mark E. Brophy officiating. Viewing one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Good Shepherd Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township. www.christfuneralhome.com
