Grace H. Harner

Grace H. Harner, 94, formerly of Wyomissing, passed away December 16, 2015, in the Lutheran Home at Topton.

She was the beloved wife of John P. Harner, who died in 2000.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late William and Annie (Bruestle) Scholl.

Grace was a graduate of Reading High School.

She was an active member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Reading for many years. She later became a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Topton.

Focused on her family, Grace cherished the years she stayed at home raising her children.

She was an avid reader and loved being involved in community theater. Grace also enjoyed volunteering in the Wyomissing Public Library and giving book reviews.

Grace is survived by her children Nancy, wife of Kenneth Pease, Syracuse, NY, and James, husband of Lisa Harner, San Roman, CA. Grace is also survived by her grandchildren, Andrew Pease and Katherine Pease-Galuski and great-grandchild, Lelaina Rose Pease.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. in Grace Lutheran Church, 1 South Home Ave., Topton, PA 19562. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Edward J.
