Grace E. Perta

Grace E. (Villani) Perta, 92, formerly of 3522 West Kent Road, Laureldale died April 6th at 9:40 p.m. in ManorCare Health Services, Laureldale where she had been since April 23, 1999.

She was the widower of Nicola Perta who died March 27, 2002.

Born in Altoona, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Felix and Marie Celeste (DelMastro) Villani.

She was a member of Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, Hyde Park.

Perta is survived by a son, Michael Perta of Livonia, Michigan and a daughter, Rachael (Perta) wife of Peter Cammarano of Laureldale.

She is also survived by a brother, Matthew Villani of Altoona and four sisters; Margaret (Villani) Schmittle of Altoona, Angeline (Villani) Ammerine of Altoona, Eleanor (Villani) Pulcino of Altoona and Helen (Villani) Papantonia of Newark, New Jersey.

There is five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday 10am in Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, Hyde Park. Viewing 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Entombment in Gethsemane Mausoleum, Muhlenberg Township. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the church at 3121 Kutztown Road, Reading, Pa 19605.
