Grace DiBlasi Torcivia, 99, of Sinking Spring, passed away peacefully in her residence on January 17, 2017.
Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Concetta (Leone) Turrisi.
Grace was a member of Holy Rosary R.C. Church of Reading. She was employed as a medical assistant for Dr. Samuel Turrisi and Dr. John Turrisi.
She is survived by one daughter: JoEllen, wife of Daniel T. Trout, Sinking Spring; one son: Peter, husband of Gail DiBlasi, Crestwood South in Exeter Township; one sister: Angela Calabria, Wyomissing; one stepdaughter: Frances Gockley; four granddaughters: Melissa, wife of Michael Jaromnak; Jessica, wife of Dr. Edward Myers; Kate, wife of Steve Kelchner; and Danielle, wife of Matthew Koons; three step-grandchildren: Greg, husband of Gretchen Trout; Timothy Trout; and Andrea Trout; and ten great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husbands, Anthony DiBlasi and Charles Torcivia, four siblings: Bessie Matarazzo, Raphaella Turrisi, Dr. Samuel Turrisi, and Nicholas Turrisi; and one daughter-in-law, Madeline DiBlasi.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Monday, January 23, 2017, at 10 a.m., in Holy Rosary R.C. Church, 237 Franklin St, Reading, PA 19602. A viewing will be held on Sunday, January 22, 2017, from 6-8 p.m. and Monday, January 23, 2017, from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading.
