Grace M. Bowman

Grace M. (Ulle) Bowman, 87, of Muhlenberg Twp., passed away on January 2, 2018, in her residence.

She was the beloved wife of William H. Bowman with whom she celebrated 66 years of marriage on December 16, 2017.

She was the daughter of the late Frederick and Grace (Miller) Ulle.

Grace was a 1948 graduate of Muhlenberg High School.

She was a dedicated and faithful member of Faith Evangelical Congregational Church in Temple.

What was most important to Grace was her family. She was a devoted mother, an incredible grandmother and great grandmother, and a sincerely loving wife. She will be truly missed by all who were blessed to know her.

In addition to her husband, Grace is survived by two children: Carol A. Wert, wife of Michael, Kutztown; and John T. Bowman, husband of Allison, Muhlenberg Twp.; eight grandchildren: Jason M. Wert, Bryan T., Sabrina M., John T. Jr., and Jacob I. Bowman, and Nicole M., Timothy K., and Taylor K. Petrowsky. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren: Thayer M.A. Wert, and Jeyce and Jordan Torres.

Grace was predeceased by seven brothers and sisters.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. in Faith Evangelical Congregational Church at 400 N Temple Blvd, Temple, PA 19560. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Faith E.C. Church at the above address.
