Gordon Edward Saltzman

Gordon Edward Saltzman, 68, passed away on November 15, 2021 at Spruce Manor.

A Reading local, he was the son of Virginia D. (Balon) Saltzman and the late Herbert E. Saltzman. Gordon graduated from Wyomissing High School and went on to run his own business as a landscaper.

Gordon loved animals from a young age, especially dogs. He was an avid fisherman and always wanted to be in the great outdoors.

Gordon is survived by his siblings: Kevin M. (Connie) Saltzman of Leesport, PA; Ann L. (Troy) Hummel of Robesonia, PA; and April L. (David) Eyrich of Mohnton, PA; niece, Lindsey (Alex) Quirits; nephew Bradley (Guilia) Hummel; and two great nephews Aiden and Bryson.

To honor Gordon's devotion to animals, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Animal Rescue League of Berks County, 58 Kennel Rd, Birdsboro, PA 19508, or to the American Cancer Society at cancer.org.
