Gloria Mills Yingling

Gloria Mills Yingling, 83, of Muhlenberg Township, died January 29, 2009 in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

She was the wife of John Martin Yingling, whom she married August 31, 1962.

Born April 4, 1925 in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Charles Adams Mills and Kathryn Marie (Hendel) Mills-Hartz.

Gloria was employed as an accounts manager at the Reading Hospital Credit Union for twelve years, retiring in 1986.

She was a member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church, Reading.

In addition to her husband, she is also survived by three children, Lynn S., husband of Kathleen (Pratzner) Adams of Exeter Township; Sandra A. (Yingling) Petti of Birdsboro and Gail M. (Adams) Hanson, of Chandler, AZ.

There are also nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren surviving.

Gloria was predeceased by a son, Richard E. Yingling, who died April 15, 1965; a daughter-in-law, Catherine (Gallant) Adams who died October 17, 1997 and a brother Charles Adams Mills.

Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in St. Mary's Episcopal Church, Front and Windsor Sts., Reading. There will be no public viewing. Burial will be in Charles Evans Cemetery, Reading.
