Gloria J. Grim

Gloria J. (Mulutzie) Grim, 71, of Wyomissing, passed away peacefully at her home with her husband of 50 years by her side, holding her hand, on Tuesday, July 8, 2014.

She was the loving wife of Leon C. Grim. Left behind to cherish her memories are her two children: Leon J.

Grim, husband of Gloria (Thomas); and Susan Grim, wife of Timothy O'Brien.

Born March 26, 1943 in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine (Fura) Mulutzie.

Gloria was a 1960 graduate of Reading High School.

She was a secretary for Pomeroy's Department Store, Reading, employed at Gordon's Jewelry, and then an administrative assistant for 25 years for Travelers Insurance Company, Wyomissing, retiring in 2002.

Gloria was an avid gardener and devoted mother who will be greatly missed. She will be mostly remembered for her beautiful smile, determination, and her graceful, positive attitude battling her medical condition.

She was a member of Atonement Lutheran Church, Wyomissing.

Also surviving are two amazing and loving sisters: Patricia Mulutize and Joanne Keiser, wife of Robert Keiser. Pat and Joanne were a tremendous help to Gloria who battled Parkinsons for over 20 years. Their unconditional love and devotion were such a blessing.

Gloria is also survived by two grandsons: Josef Grim, son of Susan, and Evan Grim, son of Leon; step-grandchildren: Brittni and Brandon O'Brien; and beloved family members: Jean Adams and Flora Amendolia.

Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. Burial will be in Salem Shalter's Cemetery.
