Gloria F. Folk

Gloria Faust (Goodwin) Folk, 81, of Alsace Township, died April 26, 2011 in Reading Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Her husband, Allen Eugene Folk died September 3, 2010.

Born October 1, 1929 in Reading, she was a daughter of the late James and Esther (Faust) Goodwin.

Gloria was a graduate of Mt. Penn High School and also a graduate of beautician school.

She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Reading, where she served on church council, was a Sunday School teacher and Senior Citizen President - P.O.F.

Gloria was active with the Cosmetology Association.

Surviving is a daughter Delores M. Miller of Laureldale; a brother, Richard F. Goodwin of Stony Creek; two grandchildren, George G. and Noelle E. and a great grandson, Austin D.

Gloria was predeceased by a son, Kevin Lee Folk who died November 6, 2010.

Services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 10th and Windsor Streets. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services in the church. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
