Gloria A. Schwartz

Gloria A. Schwartz, 80, of West Reading, passed away September 1, 2013 in Spruce Manor.

Her husband, Clair L. "Dutch" Schwartz, died in 2006.

Born in West Reading, she was a daughter of the late Donato and Carmella (Pacella) Ciervo.

She was a 1951 graduate of West Reading High School.

Gloria was a secretary for Berkshire Knitting Mills, West Reading and also worked as a sales clerk for Pomeroy's, Reading.

She was a member of Sacred Heart R.C. Church, West Reading.

Gloria is survived by her three children: Vicki L. (Beuscher), wife of Kerry Weinman, Penn Township; Richard R., husband of Helen (Busby) Beuscher, Honey Brook; and Selene A. Schwartz companion of Chris O'Neil, with whom Gloria resided. There are five surviving siblings, Victor, Albert, Danny, Angie Bennet and Mickie Stankiewicz. Four grandchildren, Brenda Ortiz, Christine Baily, Warren Wentzel and Chelsie O'Neil and her three great-grandchildren, Kellen Ortiz, Jacoby Walters, and Jaiden Baver also survive her.

She was predeceased by three siblings, John, Fannie and Annie.

Graveside Prayer Services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. in Gethsemane Cemetery, 3139 Kutztown Rd., Laureldale.
