Glenn A. Paul, 77, went home to the arms of His Heavenly Father on March 23, 2011.

He was the husband of Stella Jo (DeAngelis) Paul.

Born in Cressona, he was the son of the late Rev. Thomas E. and Marian C. (Unger) Paul.

He was a graduate of Shillington High School in 1951. He earned a bachelor's degree in secondary education in 1960 and a master's degree in secondary school counseling in 1972 from Kutztown State University.

Glenn was a U.S. Army veteran and served in the Korean War.

He was employed as a school counselor for 30 years for the Twin Valley School District, retiring in 1990.

Glenn was an active member of Community Evangelical Church, Sinking Spring, participating in the church choir and men's quartet. For the past 22 years, he was a dedicated volunteer with the Berks County Prison Ministry. Glenn also served as a counselor with Crown Financial Ministries for 15 years and volunteered with Habitat for Humanity.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by four daughters, Stephanie Young, Kristin, wife of Jim Ferguson, both of Raleigh, NC, Michelle Pettinato, Birdsboro, and Nicole, wife of Mike Sarbaugh, Shillington. He is also survived by ten grandchildren: Jeffrey, Adam, Allen, Jessica, Josi, Michael K., Michael J., Matthew, Marin, and Nadia.

Glenn was predeceased by his brother, Dale Paul.

Memorial Services will be held Sunday at 2 pm in Community Evangelical Church, 51 Green Valley Rd. Sinking Spring. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery with full Military Honors. Because of Glenn's heart for missions, contributions may be made in his honor to Global Missions, 100 Park Avenue, Myerstown, PA 17067. Edward J.
