Glenn Marvin Haag, 73, passed away at Penn State St. Joseph Hospital, Tuesday, March 9, 2021.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife Priscilla (Madenfort) Haag. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Paul Haag and Mary (Anspach) Haag.
He graduated from Hamburg Area High School in 1965 and served in the United States Air Force and The Army Reserve.
Glenn worked in research and development as a senior scientist of powder coatings for Rohm and Haas for 34 years until his retirement.
Glenn is survived by his two children: Gretta J. (Keith) Young of Hamburg and Bradley G. Haag and his wife Joy Pasquarelli of Caldwell, NJ. Glenn's much loved grandchildren Brandon J. Young and Rebecca J. Young also survive. Glenn is also survived by his sister, Barbara Liebars and brother, Barry Haag.
Glenn was a huge fan of Philadelphia sports and also loved watching his grandchildren play soccer. He was quite a history buff and had a great love of cars and airplanes. He was also a great fan of John Prine's music and traveling to New England and Hawaii.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, March 13th at 11 AM at St. John's Cemetery, 99 Church Street, Hamburg, PA 19526. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Glenn's memory to Hamburg Area Sports Boosters, P.O. Box 25, Hamburg, PA 19526. Burkey and Driscoll Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
