Glenn Alan Sell, 65, passed away April 9, 2025, in his Boyertown residence.
Born in Reading he was a son of Elizabeth (Matz) Sell and the late Fred Sell.
He was a graduate of Reading High School.
Glenn served as a Heating Technician for the Reading School District for 35 years, demonstrating unwavering dedication to his role.
Glenn enjoyed helping at his son's business, Custom T-Shirts Ink. He also enjoyed cheering for his grandson while he played soccer and coached his son and daughter when they were young. Glenn loved playing softball. Over the years he has played on many teams but had the fondest memories of his time playing with Pike Café, Evergreen Mushroom, and when he played with his son on the Rockhound team. He was most recently playing with Berks Senior Softball. Glenn liked having tools in his hands, repairing, building and creating things and collecting sports cards. In his free time, he enjoyed traveling with Donna and loved being at the beach most. He had an American Bulldog named Hank, who was his best buddy during the pandemic. Glenn could often be found enjoying a Tastykake.
He is survived by his son, Derek, husband of Jennifer Sell; his grandson, Chase Sell; his brother Jack Sell, husband of Candy Strauss-Sell, and his fiancée, Donna Himmelberger.
Glenn was predeceased by his daughter, Amy Sell.
A Celebration of Life Services will be Celebrated Saturday April 19, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, Burial will be private. Visitation will be Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Contributions in Glenn's memory may be made to Mostly Muttz at www.mostlymuttz.org.
