Glen David Brickel, 41, of Exeter Township died July 24, 2012 in Reading Hospital and Medical Center, as a result of a motorcycle accident.

He was the husband of Michele E. (Poorman) Brickel whom he married April 5, 1995.

Born February 25, 1971 in Pottstown, he was a son of David R., husband of Marilyn M. (Toy) Brickel of Exeter Township and Linda R. (Stonesifer), wife of Ronald L. Church of Pottstown.

Glen was a 1990 graduate of Pottsgrove High School and was a graduate of Reading Area Community College, where he earned an associate's degree in Automotive Technology.

He was employed for 17 years as an automotive technician, working for, Tom Masano, Reading; Fred Beans Ford, Boyertown and John Kennedy Ford, Pottstown. Most recently, he was employed as a support specialist with Assetworks, Wayne for the past 5 years, last working July 24.

Glen was a member of St. Catharine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, Exeter Township.

He enjoyed motorcycle riding and car races at Maple Grove Raceway.

Glen loved Wildwood and most of all, spending time with his children.

In addition to his parents and wife, he is survived by three children: Tiffany E. Brickel, age 18; Korey D. Brickel, age 15 and Courtney L. Brickel, age 11, all at home.

Other survivors include his four siblings: Richard L, husband of Jennifer L. (Martz) Brickel of Pottstown; Stacey M. Church of Pottstown; Nicholas P. Church, husband of Sarah Burke-Church of King of Prussia and Melissa M. Church of Stowe.

Also surviving are his paternal grandparents, Carl P. Brickel, Jr. of Leesport and Maryellen Hivner of Exeter Township.

Glen was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Joseph F. and Doris T. Stonesifer.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 11 a.m. in St. Catharine's Church, 4975 Boyertown Pike, Exeter Township. A viewing will be held from 8:30 until the time of service in the church. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township.
